De or het? Listen for the -ing and -ing.
Words ending in -ing are usually de: de opleiding, de belasting. Words ending in -ment? No, that's French. But 'het gesprek' is a trap: it looks neutral, but it's het. Remember: het gesprek, het sollicitatiegesprek, het bedrijf, het salaris.

Bruto vs netto: the trap
Bruto is what the contract says. Netto is what lands in your bank. The difference? De belasting. Always ask: 'Wat is netto?' before you sign.
