Who Dutch Fluency builds with, and why

Dutch Fluency is a one-person Dutch school with the output of a studio. That only works because a few companies decided to back it with credits and tooling. This page explains each partner, what they power on the site, and lists every provider the product runs on.

Partner programs

Being accepted into a startup program is a vote of confidence from the company behind the tool. Each card says what the program gives us and what learners get out of it.

ElevenLabs Grants

ElevenLabs · partner since April 2026

What it is: Voice credits for the startups building real products on ElevenLabs text to speech and conversational agents.

Why it matters here: Every Dutch voice you hear on Dutch Fluency, from the daily podcast episodes to the WhatsApp buddy and Rick's own AI double, is produced with ElevenLabs. The grant lets us publish native-sounding Dutch audio at a volume a one-person school could never afford otherwise.

  • Daily podcast narration
  • Dutch Town characters
  • WhatsApp buddy voice replies
  • Pronunciation examples
About the program

Google for Startups Cloud Program

Google Cloud · partner since April 2026

What it is: Google Cloud credits and startup support for self-funded companies.

Why it matters here: Our search analytics, YouTube publishing, Calendar booking for coaching calls and the Google Workspace behind every learner email run on Google. The program covers part of that bill and keeps the data tooling in one place.

  • Search Console and Analytics
  • YouTube radio and Shorts
  • Coaching calendar bookings
  • Maps for Dutch Town locations
About the program
aws

AWS Activate

Amazon Web Services · partner since June 2026

What it is: AWS Activate credits for early-stage startups, approved June 2026.

Why it matters here: Dutch Fluency runs on its own dedicated servers, so cloud credits are reserved for what a fixed machine does badly: burst capacity for large media render jobs and off-site copies of the audio archive as the pipeline grows.

  • Burst capacity for media rendering
  • Off-site backups
About the program

Claude MCP Directory, community connector

Anthropic · partner since July 2026

What it is: Dutch Fluency's grammar and level-test server is listed as a community connector in the Claude directory.

Why it matters here: Anyone using Claude can plug Dutch Fluency's grammar checker and CEFR level test straight into their chat. It is the same engine that powers the practice tools on this site.

  • Grammar practice inside Claude
  • CEFR level tests inside Claude
