How this verb works
- Regular verb. The stem is log. The infinitive loggen has g before -en, which is not in 't kofschip (t, k, f, s, ch, p), so the past tense takes -de (logde, logden) and the participle ends in -d (ingelogd).
- Separable verb. In a main clause the prefix in goes to the end: ik log in. In a subordinate clause it stays attached: ... dat ik inlog, ... dat ik inlogde.
- In the participle, ge goes between the two parts: ingelogd.
